Welcome to St Joseph School.
To register your Child for the 2020-2021 school year please click on the registration link below.
Following your form submission, you will be redirected to this page to complete your registration by paying the non-refundable $300 per student registration fee. You can pay this fee through Paypal using either a Paypal account or Credit card.
If you have questions regarding this fee, or due to COVID-19 hardships, need to pay the registration fee at a later time, please be in touch with our school Principal, David Sizemore to make arrangements.
Entry into St. Joseph School:
All incoming students must provide a birth certificate with the registration forms. Also, physical and immunization forms must be submitted for approval by the school nurse before entry into St. Joseph School. Pre-K children must be at least 3 years of age and toilet trained for admission.
Pre-K Families, School Readiness Grant:
Thompson receives a grant from the Department of Education and Department of Social Services to assist families with preschool tuition costs. St. Joseph School’s Pre-K program currently offers reduced tuition to qualified Thompson families through this grant. To qualify for this program, your family must meet the income guidelines set by the Department of Social Services. If you are unable to pay the full tuition, you can fill out the School Readiness Application and return it to St. Joseph School office or directly to TEEG to see if you qualify for this grant. You will be required to include proof of income (two most recent pay stubs for all working adults in the home) along with the school registration forms.
If your child is going to participate in any school sport during the 2020-2021 school year (other than a club), a physical dated on or after July 1, 2020 is required. The Thompson Public School offers sports physicals before each sport season (for approximately $25) as an alternative to seeing your physician. A note from your physician is not enough to play school sports. A physical form is required. Please make a note of this. The sport physical dates will be listed on the yearly calendar that will be sent home with final report cards in June.
