Parents here to help!
Updated: Mar 18
If you are a teacher and are willing to help parents understand materials while they are helping their child with distance learning, please feel free to send me your deets and I will post them here!
Sarah Healey: thanks for starting us off
While we are homeschooling/remotely/digitally educating our kids, if you need assistance with understanding something that has been assigned for your child, or if you need more resources, just give me a shout. I am a teacher and will be happy to answer questions. We WILL get through this! #bettertogether ❤️
I am certified K-6 and I am also a certified 7-12 Mathematics teacher (I specialize in advanced maths such as Pre-Calculus and Calculus, including AP). I also have a good understanding of google classroom and Zoom if you need help maneuvering the sites. I am also the Dean of Academics so I am learning very quickly about the resources available for all subject matter in 9-12.
I know it could be very hard to find a care for little kids while school will be closed for those who still have to go to work. If anyone needs care for them for few hours I am happy to help as much as I can. No Tuesday or Friday. Message me please!
While my current educational hat is Principal of SJS, many of you know me as a Social Studies teacher from yesteryear. If your student needs help navigating coursework in middle school or high school Social Studies, especially US or World History, feel free to reach out to me. Happy to set up a FaceTime session with you and your student as needed 🇺🇸 🌏
