Faith Based Education

Faith Based Education

We welcome Father David Choquette to our school community!

St. Joseph School prides itself on a faith based education.  While St. Joseph school is a Catholic based school, St. Joe's school welcomes families of all denominations.

While students participate in religion classes weekly, teachers integrate faith based morals into all their curriculums so students recognize that spirituality is a component of every day life, and not just during religion classes.

The student body attends First Friday Mass monthly.  Each grade rotates through planning and participating in the mass.

  • Catholic students in grade 2 are offered the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion.

  • Catholic students in grade 3 and higher are offered the opportunity to become alter servers.

  • Catholic students in grade 8 are prepared to make their Confirmation.

"Student of the month" honors individual students on a monthly basis who have integrated the morals & values that St Joseph School prides itself on.  These values include: Respect,  Honesty, Caring/Kindness, Fairness, Responsible/Reliable, Citizenship, Trusting, Understanding, Optimistic/Happy
